How has aioneers added value to your career progression?
Enabling a seamless transition, facilitating from a supply-chain operations to that of a supply chain & digitalization consultant. Throughout this process, I have been able to apply the skills I developed over the past decade effectively, contributing successfully to both the client and the organization.
Upon joining aioneers, I engaged in various internal projects that provided insights into the consulting methodology. I am involved in a significant APS implementation project with a major client in the refractory industry. The project commenced with a comprehensive supply chain exploration, adding substantial value to my expertise.
Presently, I play a vital role in a significant APS implementation project and lead the recruitment efforts for consulting operations in India. Furthermore, our organization boasts an excellent mentoring program, strategically preparing us for leadership roles in the future.
Describe your experience transitioning from an industrial to a consulting organization like aioneers.
Having extensive experience of supply chain planning in the pharmaceutical industry, I initially anticipated challenges transitioning into consulting. However, the journey has been enriching and smooth with my mentor’s and colleagues’ guidance and support.
The primary shift involved transitioning from a supply chain planning role to consulting and APS implementation. At aioneers, we have a structured onboarding (and people development) program designed to enable new joiners with different backgrounds to quickly grasp and transition into our specific professional services offerings.
aioneers fosters an open work culture and maintains a flat hierarchy, allowing me to quickly approach anyone in the organization. I can schedule time to seek guidance and access reference materials as needed.
Looking ahead, how do you envision your next move within aioneers?
Currently, my goal is to spearhead a substantial project for one of our clients while honing my expertise in the techno-functional aspects of APS implementation. With the growth trajectory unfolding, I am eager to contribute to the ongoing development of consulting capabilities within the India team. Additionally, I am excited to be mentoring new colleagues joining the consulting team.
We conduct regular goal review sessions and monthly mentoring touchpoints between mentor and mentee to evaluate progress, with the mentee actively participating in the discussions. Additionally, numerous training programs are available to support a candidate's growth journey within the organization.
